Injectable (semaglutide or tirzepatide): Inject subcutaneously (under the skin) once weekly, on the same day each week, into the stomach, thigh, or upper arm. Rotate injection sites to avoid irritation, and do not inject into muscle or vein.
Oral tablets (semaglutide or tirzepatide): Take one tablet daily by mouth with water, ideally at the same time each day. Follow the dosing instructions from your pharmacy and prescribing provider, and avoid eating for 30–60 minutes after your dose unless otherwise directed.
Injectable: If it’s been less than 4 days, take it as soon as possible. If more than 4 days have passed, skip the missed dose and resume your regular weekly schedule. Do not take two injections within 3 days of each other.
Oral tablets: Take it as soon as you remember, unless it’s been more than 24 hours. If it’s close to your next dose, skip the missed one and return to your regular schedule. Do not double up.
Injectable: Keep refrigerated (36–46°F) and protect from light. Do not freeze. Some compounded versions may be stored at room temperature for a limited time once opened; follow your pharmacy’s storage guidelines closely.
Oral tablets: Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from heat, light, and moisture. Keep tablets in their original container with the lid tightly closed.
Every plan includes your medication, supplies, provider review, pharmacy compounding, and free shipping, with no insurance needed and no hidden fees. Choosing a longer supply plan locks in a lower monthly price, and you can cancel anytime from your BetterMe Rx Patient Portal.
