The injectable semaglutide available through BetterMe Rx is a compounded medication, not affiliated with or produced by Novo Nordisk, the manufacturer of Wegovy® or Ozempic®. While it contains the same active ingredient (semaglutide), this version is custom-prepared and not FDA-approved.

What Is Compounded Injectable Semaglutide?

This formulation is prepared by licensed 503A or 503B pharmacies for subcutaneous injection and may be dispensed in multi-dose vials or pre-filled syringes. Compounded semaglutide may be prescribed when commercial semaglutide is unavailable or not accessible to a patient.

Not FDA-Approved

This product has not been reviewed or approved by the FDA for safety or efficacy. It is not manufactured according to the same standards required for commercial semaglutide products, and BetterMe Rx does not guarantee identical therapeutic effects.

Caution and Patient Use

Use only as prescribed by your licensed provider. Potential side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, injection site reactions, and in rare cases, pancreatitis or thyroid C-cell tumors. Do not use this medication without medical oversight.

Pharmacy Fulfillment

All compounded injectable semaglutide prescriptions are filled by licensed U.S. pharmacies in compliance with compounding laws under the FDA and relevant state boards of pharmacy.
