How to take Semaglutide / Tirzepatide?

Compounded Oral Semaglutide (Tablets)

Take one oral semaglutide tablet daily with water, ideally at the same time each day. Follow the dosing instructions provided by your pharmacy and prescribing provider, and avoid eating for 30–60 minutes after taking your dose unless otherwise directed.



Compounded Injectable Semaglutide

Inject the medication subcutaneously (under the skin) once weekly, on the same day each week. The injection can be administered in the stomach, thigh, or upper arm. Rotate injection sites to avoid irritation. Do not inject into muscle or vein.


Compounded Oral Tirzepatide (Tablets)

Take one tablet daily by mouth with water. It's best to take your dose around the same time each day. Follow the instructions provided by your pharmacy and prescribing provider, and avoid food for 30–60 minutes after dosing unless otherwise directed.


Compounded Injectable Tirzepatide

Inject subcutaneously once per week on the same day each week. You may inject into the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Rotate sites and follow all preparation and injection instructions provided by your pharmacy or healthcare provider.

What should I do if I miss a dosage?

Oral Semaglutide / Oral Tirzepatide

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember—unless it’s been more than 24 hours. If it’s close to your next dose, skip the missed one and return to your regular schedule. Do not double up on doses.



Injectable Semaglutide / Injectable Tirzepatide

If you miss your weekly dose and it’s been less than 4 days, take it as soon as possible. If more than 4 days have passed, skip the missed dose and resume your regular weekly schedule. Do not take two injections within 3 days of each other.

How should I store GLP-1 medications like Semaglutide / Tirzepatide?

Oral Semaglutide (Tablets)

Store Oral Semaglutide tablets at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from heat, light, and moisture. Keep tablets in their original container and ensure the lid is tightly closed.



Injectable Semaglutide

Keep refrigerated (36–46°F). Do not freeze. Some compounded versions may be stored at room temperature once opened — check the pharmacy instructions. Protect from light.


Oral Tirzepatide (Tablets)

Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from light, heat, and moisture. Keep in the original container, tightly closed.
